Game Balancing Designer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Balance and simulate game system to visualize its structure and how it works
  • Balance in-game items and its meta system
  • Analyze user behavior from all available sources to ensure it matches our intention
  • Collaborate with data analyst to collect and analyze data, for optimization of performance
  • Respond to feedback, provide analytics and test results with critical proposals to improve designs
  • Communicate designs clearly and effectively to the team
  • Carry out all other related tasks.

Skill/experience

  • 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in the game industry as a game balancer/designer. Preferably for a P2E game.
  • Proficient with Machinations tool
  • Profound knowledge of basic rules of game design (gameplay, learning curve, creating emotion, difficulty balancing, reward)
  • Strong analytical, mathematical and problem solving skills
  • In depth, up-to-date knowledge and comprehension of the play-to-earn market
  • Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it
  • Autonomy and proactive work ethic
